GIC's operations in London are housed at York House, 45 Seymour Street.
While the London office is essentially the regional base for our investment activities in Europe, we have professionals there who, in addition to their roles as European specialists, also manage global portfolios.
One role of the London office is to develop and maintain a network of contacts in Europe that will help GIC in our investment activities. Our staff have regular meetings with policy makers, market participants, and heads of companies, with the objectives of cultivating relationships with these contacts to help us understand some of their thought processes, as well as to raise the profile of GIC as a serious investor.
