The mission of the Financial Services Department (FSD) is to provide financial operations and reporting services to support the investment operations of GIC.

The operations groups in FSD ensure the precise settlement of all trades, complete collection of income entitlements, accurate processing of corporate actions, and prompt processing of derivative trades, margin and collateral calls. In addition, the operations groups ensure the prompt reconciliation of all GIC's cash and securities positions, and monitor GIC's substantial shareholdings for filings with regulators.

The reporting groups in FSD ensure the correct reporting on the valuations and performance of assets, and timely provision of investment accounting reports for assets under GIC's management.
