Investment Data & Valuation Department (IDVD) is responsible for firm-wide investment data and pricing in support of the broad spectrum of operations such as trade processing, compliance investment monitoring, investment accounting, risk and performance measurement, management reporting and client reporting. There are three divisions in IDVD. The Data Support and Operations Division ensures the integrity and timeliness of all firm-wide investment data, such as asset classifications, coupons,
factors,
durations, deltas, credit ratings, issuer details and notifications of corporate actions.
The Pricing and Valuation Division ensures that the pricing and valuation of every asset are independent, accurate and timely. The pricing coverage is global and includes assets such as Equities,
Bonds, Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Futures, Collateralised Securities and other derivatives.
The Data Sourcing and Development Division sources for new data and ensures smooth data flow from front office to middle office and to back office. They also provide benchmark data, trade data and position data to support fund valuation and fund accounting.
