Rajesh T. Krishnamachari, Ph.D. serves as Global Head of the Investment Insights Group (IIG) at GIC. His group focuses on the effective utilisation of data and advanced analytics to augment investment research across asset departments, including public and private markets, micro and macro strategies, and fundamental and quantitative investing styles. Rajesh also serves on the Corporate Management Committee, Enterprise Architecture Board, and ESG Data Committee for GIC.
Prior to joining GIC, Rajesh was Global Head of Data Science for Bank of America Securities, where he led the digital transformation of Equity and Fixed Income around Big Data and A.I. His other experience includes work on Macro Quant Research & Quant/Volatility Trading at J.P. Morgan and as an Adjunct Faculty at New York University teaching graduate courses on Machine Learning.
Rajesh holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. In addition, he holds a Master of Science and a doctorate in the same field from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Through his R&D career, Rajesh has published two books and 25 widely cited publications across quantitative finance, signal processing, applied mathematics, and social sciences.
