Sharon Sun is Head of Private Equity for China at GIC. In this role, Sharon oversees private equity investments in China, including direct investments and fund investments. She also sits on the Private Equity Global Investment Committee, and concurrently serves as Head of GIC’s Beijing Office where she oversees corporate legal and corporate relations for GIC in China.

Sharon joined GIC in 2008. Prior to joining GIC, Sharon was senior investment officer at International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Manager at McKinsey & Company. Earlier in her career, she was an officer at the People’s Bank of China (PBOC).

Sharon holds a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
