Rajesh Sivaraman is Head of the Capital Markets Team within GIC Real Estate. In this role, he oversees RE’s financing requirements globally, focusing on optimizing financing strategies across RE’s investments and cultivating new counterparty relationships. He is also a member of RE’s Global Management Committee, contributing to the strategic direction and overall performance of the RE portfolio. The team he oversees also supports Infrastructure on its financing requirements, as needed.

Before joining GIC, Rajesh worked for 17 years in European Real Estate financing, beginning his banking career at ABN AMRO and later serving as a Managing Director with RBS/NatWest group after 2008. Over this period, his experience spanned a wide range of roles including origination, distribution, restructuring and portfolio management. In Rajesh’s early pre-banking career in India, he worked in Standard & Poor’s Indian affiliate in the Ratings and Advisory teams and gained experience in the energy sector with Enron.

Rajesh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and a Masters in Finance from the London Business School.
