Eugene Wong is part of Chief Investment Officer’s Office, Private Equity at GIC. In this role, he works closely with the Private Credit Group.

Eugene joined GIC in 1989 and held various roles in the Private Equity department, apart from a two-year period with OCBC Bank in London between 1996 and 1997. Prior to his current role, he served as Head of Europe, Private Equity, where he oversaw the Private Equity Funds & Co-Investments Group and Direct Investments Group in Europe. He was also co-chair of GIC’s Credit Business Group.

Eugene holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University.
