Ewout Steenbergen is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Booking Holdings, a global leader in online travel with a market capitalization exceeding $170 billion. The company connects travelers and partners in over 220 countries and territories through its five primary consumer brands: Booking.com, Priceline, Agoda, KAYAK, and OpenTable.

As Chief Financial Officer, a role he has held since March 15, 2024, Ewout is responsible for leading Booking Holdings’ worldwide finance organization, which includes Finance, Tax, Treasury, Accounting, Internal Audit, Corporate Development, Real Estate and Investor Relations. The company’s growing Fintech business also sits within Ewout’s purview. His deep experience in technology and finance is playing a driving role in leading the company toward its vision for the future of travel, accelerating innovation, and delivering value to stakeholders.

Previously Ewout served as EVP, Chief Financial Officer at S&P Global Inc. (“S&P”), a financial information and analytics company, since 2016. He was also appointed as President, Engineering Solutions in 2022 when S&P merged with IHS Markit, and led Kensho Technologies, an artificial intelligence company, since 2018. Prior to his role with S&P, Ewout held the role of Executive Vice President and CFO of Voya Financial, Inc., a financial services company.

Ewout also serves as Envoy at Large of the Board of Directors of UNICEF USA and is on the Board of Directors of AXA. He holds a master’s degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Amsterdam and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Rochester and from Nyenrode University.
