    Chan Hoe Yin

    Director, Investment Services Private Markets & Finance

    Chan Hoe Yin is Director of the Investment Services Private Markets & Finance Department (ISPVMF). The department is responsible for finance, tax, and accounting for the GIC group, as well as providing operations & finance support to GIC’s private markets businesses covering real estate, private equity, and infrastructure investments.

    Hoe Yin joined GIC in 1993 and has assumed a variety of responsibilities that include public and private market investment operations, external manager operations, private market accounting and operations, data and valuation, management reporting, portfolio rebalancing, performance measurement, financing, taxation, and corporate accounting. Before GIC, he worked as a management accountant at the Ministry of Finance (MOF) and as an auditor at Deloitte.

    Hoe Yin holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the National University of Singapore. He also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in System Analysis & Design from the Singapore Polytechnic and a Master of Business Administration (Banking & Finance) from the Nanyang Technological University. He has attended the General Management Program at Harvard Business School.
