Doreen Chia is a Portfolio Manager in the Equities Department and co-chairs the Healthcare Business Group. In her role, she manages three global healthcare portfolios.

Doreen joined GIC in 2001 and has worked in Public Equities based in New York, Singapore, and London. Prior to joining GIC, Doreen was Centre Director, Economic Development Board (EDB) Investments in San Francisco and Boston. Her focus was early-stage biotech venture investments.

Doreen holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Bristol. She also holds a Master of Arts in Pathology from Columbia University.
