Mark Lee is the Head of Developed Markets (DM) in the Public Equities Department, where he oversees capital allocation and research coordination between DM teams. He also leads and manages the Large Stakes Portfolio, a highly concentrated, low
turnover portfolio that invests exclusively in the highest quality companies in DM. Additionally, Mark co-chairs the Technology Business Group, a cross-asset class group within GIC focused on identifying key technology trends and advising the firm
on investment opportunities in the technology sector.
Mark joined GIC in 2001 and has held various positions, including Technology Analyst in the Asia Equity Research division and Regional Portfolio Manager and Deputy Head in the Asia Pacific Equities division. Prior to joining GIC, Mark was a technical
consultant at Hewlett Packard.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is also a CFA charterholder.
