Taran Khera is Head of Enterprise & Data Technology. He leads GIC’s enterprise data and technology strategy, providing end-to-end capabilities across data platforms, products, and governance. He also oversees corporate and total portfolio technology applications.

Taran joined GIC in 2021 as Director of Data Strategy Group, bringing with him over 16 years of experience in Data and Financial Services across APAC, Middle East, and Europe from Bloomberg LP. Before joining GIC, Taran was Bloomberg’s Global Head of Data Content, Acquisition & Exchanges, based in Hong Kong. In that role, he led Bloomberg’s data strategy – overseeing how data was acquired and managed across both public and private markets. He also built the data platform for Bloomberg Intelligence, enabling data scientists and research analysts to deliver insights to Bloomberg’s global users.

Taran holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Liverpool and a Master of Science in Operational Research and Management Sciences from Aston University.
