Tien Xuan Doe is Head of Asia (ex Japan) for the Integrated Strategies Group. He leads a team focused on originating and executing investment opportunities across the region, with a particular emphasis on corporate actions, large-scale M&A, and restructuring. He also serves as a member of ISG’s Investment Committee.
Tien joined GIC in 2006 and covered Telecoms, Utilities and Industrials for Asia Equity Research before joining the CIO Office, Equities as Head of Research in 2019. He was also a member of GIC’s Sustainability Committee. Before joining GIC, he worked for Alliance Capital Management and Morley Fund Management on the buy-side; JPMorgan/Jardine Fleming, Deutsche Morgan Grenfell, Kerry Securities and Barclays de Zoete Wedd on the sell-side; and for KPMG in audit and insolvency.
Tien holds a Master of Arts in Philosophy from King’s College, University of Cambridge. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
