Wong Kim Yin is Group Chief Executive Officer (Group CEO) of Sembcorp Industries Ltd. He is a member of the GIC Investment Board. He has 30 years of leadership experience in investment management and in the energy sector. Prior to Sembcorp, Mr Wong was the Group CEO of Singapore Power from 2012 to 2020. He has also held senior roles in Temasek International and The AES Corporation. Mr Wong actively contributes to the global energy transition through his role as Vice Chair, Asia, of the World Energy Council. He is the Chairman of Health Promotion Board, and also serves on the boards of National Research Foundation, Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore and China Venture Capital Fund Corporation.

Mr Wong holds a Bachelor of Science from National University of Singapore and a Master of Business Administration from University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
