    Member, GIC Risk Committee

    Mr Ong Chong Tee is Deputy Chairman of Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) from April 2021. He is a member of the GIC Risk Committee. Previously, Mr Ong was with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) for 35 years and held senior positions in the areas of reserve management, central banking monetary operations and market development. Most recently from 2014 to March 2021, Mr Ong was MAS’ Deputy Managing Director of Financial Supervision overseeing the financial sectors of banking, insurance, capital markets, payment services as well as technology and money laundering risks.

    Mr Ong holds a Honours Degree in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore. He was awarded the Public Administration (Gold Medal) in August 2007 by the President of Singapore.
