Chris Emanuel is Head of the Technology Investment Group at GIC. In this role, Chris oversees venture and growth equity funds, as well as direct investments in technology growth companies globally, and co-heads Digital Assets across GIC’s offices in Asia and the Americas.

Chris joined GIC in 2013, and transitioned to Private Equity and created the Technology Investment Group starting 2017. Prior to joining GIC, Chris was the Tech Analyst at OppenheimerFunds and JPMorgan Asset Management for approximately 6 years each and led Tech, Media and Telecom investing for Total Return Group in New York from 2013 to 2016.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Brown University. He is also a CFA charterholder.
