1 The Chief Risk Officer (CRO) is a member of the Group Executive Committee and reports administratively to the Chief Executive Officer and functionally to Chairman of the Board Risk Committee. The CRO is accountable to the Board of Directors, primarily through the Board Risk Committee, on all risk-related matters.
2 The Director, Internal Audit reports administratively to the Chief Executive Officer and functionally to the Chairman of the Board Audit Committee.
The GIC Board and Management answer to our client, the Government of Singapore, for portfolio performance. The Board is responsible for long-term asset allocation and overall performance, while the Management formulates and executes investment strategies. GIC acts autonomously on individual investments, without influence from the Client or the Board.
